Shaena Strubing is a third generation Santa Cruzan, ninth generation Californian. Having attended local elementary, middle and high school in Santa Cruz, her depth of knowledge in Santa Cruz history is a point of pride. Her husband, Jason, owns and operates Skateworks, a thirty year locally owned family business in Santa Cruz and Los Altos, CA. Born and raised in San Diego, I grew up in a home my father built, and as a child spent weekends working on investment properties with my family. I moved to Northern California, worked as an RN and actively volunteered in the community as I raised my children in a home that we transformed from a shack to a beautiful dream home.
